At onboarding, the user receives an encrypted recovery package (email or printable QR). Combined with a fresh OAuth/OTP authentication and the custodian’s release of Share 3, this package can rebuild Share 1 on any new device.

The recovery package alone is not enough — the custodian only releases Share 3 after re-authentication succeeds.
